The Belle Opry House was established in 2009 with dreams of becoming one of the homes of great live music performed by some of the best musicians that Texas has to offer. Dreams have a way of becoming a reality, thanks to everyone and anyone who is a fan of live music.

The Belle began as a dream itself, an idea. An idea that an historic, run-down, empty building could somehow be filled with music and happiness. Robert and Suzanne Swiney had to put that idea on the back burner for a few months while Suzanne fought and won against breast cancer.

Robert and Suzanne, with the help of many family members and friends, were able to nurture the building back to life. Sometimes kicking and screaming, sometimes sweating and bleeding, but always with that idea of what could be.

Today, The Belle Opry House is a reality. A venue for live music with a stage bigger than most, a dance floor that begs to be danced on, and a seating area that affords everyone a great view. The best in Texas/Red Dirt and Texas Rock have performed at The Belle and they keep coming back. Ask any of the musicians why they love to perform at The Belle and they'll tell you that it has the best audiences, the best hospitality, and that it's just plain fun.
